Dionysios Linardatos

In a public Meeting of the Assembly of the Biomedical Engineering Department on 17^th of March 2023, Dionysios Linardatos was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy Degree by the President of the Department, Professor Ioannis Kalatzis. It is worth mentioning that Dr Dionysios Linardatos is the 1^st PhD of the Department since its establishment as a department of the University of West Attica.

The Meeting was honored by the presence of the Rector of the University of West Attica, Professor Panagiotis Kaldis, who awarded Dr Linardatos the doctoral degree.

Dionysios Linardatos’ doctoral thesis is entitled “Development of a prototype CMOS digital imaging system for X-ray medical applications” and was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Christos Michail and the other two advisory committee members, Professor Georgios Fountos and Professor Ioannis Valais. Dionysios Linardatos successfully defended the thesis on the 10^th of March 2023 and was unanimously evaluated as “Excellent” by the seven-member examination committee which consisted of the members of the aforementioned advisory committee, as well as Professor Maria Kallergi, Associate Professor Athanasios Bakas, Associate Professor Nektarios Kalyvas and Associate Professor Panagiotis Liaparinos.
