The Department of Medical Instruments Technology, Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens, Greece, was organized the Workshop on Bio-Medical Instrumentation and related Engineering and Physical Sciences (BIOMEP 2012) to be held at TEI of Athens, on Friday 6 July 2012.

The scope of the workshop was to provide a forum on the latest developments in Biomedical Instrumentation and related principles of Physical and Engineering sciences. Scientists and engineers from academic, industrial and health disciplines were invited to participate in the Workshop and to contribute both in the promotion and dissemination of the scientific knowledge.
