Professor E. Siores of Bolton University, UK visited our Department during the week 11-15 April 2011 under the Erasmus collaboration between the two institutions.

During his visit, Prof. E. Siores offered three talks:

• Monday 11/4/2011, “Introduction to Smart Materials”
• Wednesday 13/4/2011, “Microwave Thermography”
• Thursday  14/4/2011, “Smart Materials and Systems (MEMS)”

Professor Siores visit closed with fruitful discussion with faculty members of our Department regarding future research collaboration.
