The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens, Greece, was organized the Workshop on Bio-Medical Instrumentation and related Engineering and Physical Sciences (BIOMEP) 2014 with International contribution.

The workshop took place in Athens, on 13 September 2014, during the 8th European Conference of Medical Physics (11-13/9/2014).

The scope of the workshop was to provide a forum on the latest developments in Biomedical Instrumentation and related principles of Physical and Engineering sciences. ...

The international 3rd Conference on PET/MR and SPECT/MR took place in Kos island, Greece during the days 19 – 21 May 2014. The conference was focused in the state-of-art imaging technologies PET/MR and SPECT/MR. The head of the organizing committee of the conference was the faculty member of our Department Assistant Professor Geogre Loudos.

The COST Action TD1007 program: “Bimodal PET-MRI molecular imaging technologies and applications for in vivo monitoring of disease and biological processes”, has organized the summer school “1st International Training School on PET-MRI Engineering” with coordinator the Assistant Professor George Loudos.

Our Department was coorganizer of the international conference Second Mediterranean Thematic Workshop In Advanced Molecular Imaging “Low Dose Screening”, which tool place to Mallorca, Spain, on 26-29 September 2013.

Our Department was coorganizer of the international conference PSMR 2013, which took place in Aachen Germany, on 6-7 May 2013. The conference was focused to state-of-art imaging techniques PET/MR and SPECT/MR and it was organized under  COST Action TD1007 European program “Bimodal PET-MRI molecular imaging technologies and applications for in vivo monitoring of disease and biological processes“, with coordinator the Department and the Assistant Professor George Loudos. ...

Meerting on PET/MRI was coordinated by TEI of Athens and the Assistant Professor George Loudos on Saturday 23 February 2013. the meeting was organized under the European COST Action TD1007 “Bimodal PET-MRI molecular imaging technologies and applications for in vivo monitoring of disease and biological processes”.
