The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens, Greece, was organized the Conference on Bio-Medical Instrumentation and related Engineering and Physical Sciences (BIOMEP 2013) with International contribution at TEI of Athens, on 21-22 June 2013.

The scope of the conference was to provide a forum on the latest developments in Biomedical Instrumentation and related principles of Physical and Engineering sciences. Scientists and engineers from academic, industrial and health disciplines were invited to participate in the Conference and to contribute both in the promotion and dissemination of the scientific knowledge.

The European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP) accredits the conference as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course with 9.5 CPD credit-points.
