Assistant Professor Irina Tache, from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science of University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania visited our Department on Monday 25 June 2018, under the Erasmus+ collaboration between the two institutions.

During her stay in the Department, Mrs. Tache offered two talks:

• “Vessels’ edge detection algorithms for medical images”
• “Angiography filtering and segmentation”

Asst. Professor Tache visit closed with fruitful discussion with faculty members of our Department regarding future research collaboration.
